Leah Woodward
Leah began her career in Massage Therapy in 2007 with a 2 year (2200 hour) diploma at the Foothills College of Massage Therapy (Calgary, AB). She recently upgraded her credentials in 2024 at MHVicars School of Massage Therapy (2 year Diploma), which is a Canadian Massage Therapist Association level program. This enabled her to become a Registered Massage Therapist in BC. Leah is a compassionate, client-centred therapist who is endlessly fascinated with the muscles, joints and interconnected systems of the human body. Leah’s hope is to assist clients as they learn more about what works for their own bodies and how to move/operate with more ease. Leah blends traditional Swedish, fascial, deep tissue, and a knowledge that the nervous system is ultimately the control centre of all body systems. This is why she aims to customize treatments to learn about each client’s relevant history, soothe stiff muscles and joints, workshop effective and achievable Home Care, and help clients unwind.
